Tickets and tables will go on sale over the summer. Space is limited so reserve your seat quickly... you won't want to miss the fun!
Celebrating the Creativity
of Young Artists
Kids are busy making art at LOAC all year-round! We offer spring, fall, and summer art programs for youth ages 6-14. Our engaging youth programs give kids an opportunity to spend time experiencing the creative process and to explore art media they may not have access to in the classroom. Summer art camps and after-school classes are taught by experienced artists, including art faculty at area colleges and universities. Studies have shown the process of creating art helps support young children in almost all areas of their development, including boosting confidence and self-esteem, improving fine motor skills and enhancing creative problem solving abilities, and providing a positive outlet to process experiences and deal with overwhelming emotions.
Encourage your child to engage their artistic side at the Live Oak Art Center!

Yoga at LOAC
The Live Oak Art Center is proud to host Yoga Country Yoga on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Peggy Harrison (500 RYT) will have you bending, posing, and stretching your way to relaxation, better posture, and stronger core muscles. Peggy has been sharing her passion for yoga with our community since 2002. She includes Hatha, Kundalini, Vinyasa Flow and ViniYoga techniques in her classes.
New students should arrive 15 minutes before their first class to meet for a consultation and information session. Peggy has yoga mats for first-time students but regular attendees must provide their own mat. Additional equipment such as blocks, straps, and blankets will be provided.
Ages 16 and up are welcome to attend Yoga Country Yoga. Classes are just $5 each (cash and checks accepted) and are held in the upstairs gallery. Beginning and advanced classes are available to accommodate all skill levels.
