“Music of Four Centuries” featuring Peter Fletcher, Classical Guitarist

In Music of Four Centuries, Peter Fletcher will feature two Bach lute suites, No. 1 in e minor and No. 3 in a minor, as well as Five Bagatelles by British composer William Walton, Recuerdos de la Alhambra by Spanish composer Francisco Tarrega, music by Polish composer Alexander Tansman, and Four Preludes by Mexican composer Manuel Ponce. The concert will culminate with Isaac Albentz’s Rumores de la Caleta, one of the most exciting Spanish works in the classical guitar repertoire.
Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased online or in person at the Live Oak Art Center or Nesbitt Memorial Library during normal business hours. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the door. Day-of ticketing is not guaranteed.
Music of Four Centuries is hosted in partnership between the Live Oak Art Center and the Nesbitt Memorial Library.
